EXTEND Mode – Up to 250m Transmission

When EXTEND mode is enabled, the speed of ports 1–4 is reduced to 10Mbps, allowing existing twisted-pair Ethernet cable to achieve a maximum transmission distance of up to 250 meters.

This function helps overcome the standard 100-meter Ethernet transmission limitation and can also help maintain more reliable transmission when dealing with aging network cables.

VLAN Isolation Mode

When EXTEND mode is enabled, ports 1–4 are isolated from each other, while still communicating with uplink ports 5–6.

This isolation helps:

• Reduce unnecessary broadcast traffic.

• Prevent potential DHCP conflicts.

• Improve network stability.

• Optimize port buffer utilization.
